Ash Ransom is a young man who volunteers at Loch & Keye Containment and Storage. He also runs a one-man digital emo band called Darkn Ur Heartz.
Character[]
Appearance[]
Ash has brown skin and dark hair, swept into long bangs over one eye. The tips have flashes of colour, the result of a mishap with the Rainbow Bone Comb. He wears dark grey and black clothing, usually including heavy boots, tight high-waisted jeans, snarky shirts and studded belts.
Personality[]
He is usually apathetic and resigned, although quick to embarrassment and highly absorbed in self-image. He deliberately puts out an image of being uncaring about everything, but he has some strong opinions on music and philosophy.
Skills and Abilities[]
Ash is a good musician and an intelligent, creative fellow. He's also quite quick and good with computers.
History[]
Ash was born in New Trashton, but was put in a foster home at a fairly young age. After going from home to home, he ended up having to age his way out of the system, never finding a family where he really belonged.
Eventually, after working for a while, he did what many consider somewhat impossible - he escaped New Trashton, and as he hopped from job to job over the course of a few years, he worked his way up to Coimhead in Scotland, where he managed to score a small, cheap, somewhat-probably-haunted flat and a job in a record shop.
After a while, he decided to take up a volunteer job in Loch & Keyes, largely for something to do outside of his work and his music, and to meet new people. He's now a staple of the establishment, and the others have learned to appreciate his sulky, snarky presence.
